When I was forciably retired I needed a DIFF engine for my personal use, maintaining a web site, and keeping the home network in good order, I shopped around and finally bought BEYOND COMPARE by Scooter Software out of Madison Wisconsin. It&#8217;s been in the toolbox since and it, along with &#8220;Agent Ransack&#8221;, are two tools that I use almost daily. <\/p>\n<p>If I wish to manage my backups or check for duplicates, these two tools work very well. If I wish to make a change to my websites, B.C. does a great job of both managing versions and ftp&#8217;ing the changes to the remote site. <\/p>\n<p>The Scooter Software website is easy to find, as are the many references to Beyond Compare. I&#8217;m quite happy with the version 3.3.1.
