Suicide. \u2014 About nlne o’clock last evening a woman of the town, known as “French Mary,” committed suicide by taking a dose of laudanum at her rooms in an alleyway running off to Dupont street, near Broadway. She has made several attempts at self-destruction, but was always thwarted in her efforts. She was a native of France, about 40 years of age.
