AFLOAT AND ASHORE. \u2014 It was feared
\nin San Francisco last week (in which fears
\nwe truly shared) that Frank Sonle, Esp.,
\nhad been lost in the brig J. B. Brown,
\nwhich was wrecked at the mouth of the
\nAlbion river a short time ago.
\nHappily, however, he turned up on
\nFriday, safe and sound, having escaped
\nwith all who were on board at the time.
\nHe passed down through Bodega via Pet-
\naluma, to San Francisco, on Thursday
\nlast. We extend our sympathies to our
\nfriend Soule, for this disastrous termina-
\ntion of his pleasure trip, yet rejoice, that
\nwhile he has been blown ashore, he is
