Yesterday afternoon Superintendent of Schools Taylor called at the office of the
\nChief of Police and asked police assistance in searching the male pupils at Hamilton
\nGrammar School, on Geary street, for concealed firearms. It appears that Mr. Robinson,
\nPrincipal of the school, received an anonymous letter, stating that the greater portion
\nof the boys carried revolvers. Truant Office Williams and Police Officer Lane were
